Noda Long Service Medals – Ten is the magic number!

It’s that time of the year again, when we ask our members to tally up the number of productions they have been involved in to see if they can apply for a long service award.

The first long service award is 10 years and then every five years after that (15, 20, 25 etc)

The shows don’t need to run in succession and any NODA affiliated productions can be counted (one per calendar year)

For those younger members in the cast, show involvement under the age of 11 doesn’t count towards these long service awards, making the minimum age for a long service medal 21.

If you are a member and you think this might be you, please speak to Lynsey or Sheila at the next rehearsal.  You will be asked to list the shows and evidence any shows that have been with societies other than Galashiels.

We need to allow for the awards to be processed before Show week, therefore can we ask for completed application forms to be returned by 21st January.  GAOS pay for the costs of the awards.
